Hippy Singmanee

Hippy Singmanee emerged as a formidable force in the Muay Thai world during the 1980s and 1990s, earning the nickname "The Genius of the South" for his exceptional fighting intelligence and technique. Born in Nakarn Si Thammart, Thailand, Hippy hailed from the fighter-rich region of Issan, which has produced numerous Muay Thai legends.

Throughout his career, Hippy was known for his dominance in the mini flyweight and junior flyweight divisions, where he held the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium championships. His technical prowess and strategic approach in the ring made him virtually untouchable in these weight classes, earning him a reputation as one of the top fighters of his era.

Despite moving up to the lightweight division, where he faced larger opponents, Hippy continued to deliver memorable performances, showcasing his adaptability and skill. His career record of 161 wins, including 72 by knockout, underscores his ability to combine power with precision, a hallmark of his fighting style.

After retiring from active competition, Hippy transitioned to a role as a mentor and trainer, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of fighters at the P.
