He began his Muay Thai career at the Kiatmuu9 camp in Buriram, where he honed his skills to become one of the most technically proficient fighters of his era. Known for his strategic fighting style, Panomrunglek earned the nickname "Madly Sea Storm Knee Striker" due to his relentless pressure and effective use of clinch and knee strikes.

In Muay Thai, Panomrunglek achieved remarkable success, securing the Lumpinee Stadium titles in the 112 lbs and 115 lbs categories in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He also won the Thailand title in 115 lbs in 2009 and the Tournament Isuzu in 2003. His exceptional performance in the ring earned him the prestigious title of "Best Fighter of Lumpinee" in 2004, a testament to his dominance and skill.
