Namphon Sijantuek, known professionally as Namphon Nongkeepahuyuth, was born on May 19, 1969, in Nong Ki, Buriram, Thailand. He began training in Muay Thai at a young age under the guidance of Pramote Hoymook at the Nongkeepahuyuth gym. His dedication and skill quickly made him a standout fighter in the local circuits of Surin and Nakhon Ratchasima before he moved to Bangkok to compete at a higher level.

During his career, Namphon became a Muay Thai superstar from 1988 to 1991, known for his relentless forward-moving style and powerful knee strikes. His fighting style earned him the nickname "Decayed Face Knee Striker" due to the numerous cuts he sustained in his many hard-fought battles, resulting in 72 stitches over his career. Despite these challenges, Namphon's resilience and skill in the ring made him a fan favorite.

Namphon's career highlights include winning the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium titles in the 112 lbs and 126 lbs weight classes.
